Pharris Photography + Films:

Capturing legacies one session at a time.

If you haven’t heard of them already, meet Pharris Photography and Films, a photography and media company that specializes in wedding and lifestyle photography. The owners, Joshua and Kariss Farris are dedicated to capturing others’ legacies no matter the stage. With over ten years in the industry, these two have grown a global photography business that is known for their exceptional wedding and potrait photography. These two are passionate about storytelling and love to express the craft through capturing couples before, during, and after they say “I Do.”

Throughout their journey, the couple has also spent time mentoring and educating aspiring creatives who aspire to turn their craft into a full-time career and grow into a successful business. As their business and family grew, so did their workload with operating the business. They decided it was time to hire people that will help them manage & operate their business. In 2022, I was hired as their digital marketing manager.

Kariss and Josh wanted their brand to exceed the reputation of just a photography company. They thrive to be known for more than just photographers that posted their work with a simple caption and tell people to book them through a link in their bio. Their dedication is tied to family, legacy, and storytelling. They wanted to not only share the beautiful union of a couple on their wedding day but also share their love stories with the world. As marketing manager for Pharris, I’m responsible for the creative execution and optimization of a comprehensive content marketing strategy. I ensure Pharris Photos + Films are creating the right content, at the right time, for the right channels (Instagram, Pinterest, Facebook)––with the goal to generate leads and increase awareness.
