Runway7Fashion is a New York–based fashion and entertainment platform known for producing immersive, high-energy runway shows during New York Fashion Week. The brand sits at the intersection of fashion, culture, and media, spotlighting emerging and established designers while creating memorable experiences for designers, models, and attendees alike.

Runway7Fashion’s audience includes fashion enthusiasts, creatives, industry professionals, and digital consumers who follow fashion week coverage in real time across social platforms. Their brand thrives on storytelling, visual impact, and capturing the pulse of fashion culture as it unfolds.

The Work:

During New York Fashion Week, I supported Runway7Fashion as a Marketing & Content Volunteer, assisting the marketing team with the execution of both organic and sponsored content across digital platforms. Working in a fast-paced, live-event environment, I contributed to capturing, producing, and editing content designed to extend the reach of the runway beyond the venue and into the digital space.

My role was highly hands-on and multifaceted, blending real-time content creation, creative support, and on-site operations. I captured high-quality photography and short-form video content highlighting runway moments, designer collections, backstage energy, and model preparation. I also assisted with editing short-form content optimized for social platforms, ensuring visuals aligned with Runway7’s brand and the pace of fashion week coverage.

Beyond content creation, I supported the team with on-site setup, backstage coordination, and assisting designers and models to ensure smooth show operations. This experience required adaptability, strong communication, and an understanding of how marketing, content, and production intersect during live events.

My work included:

  • Assisting the marketing team with organic and sponsored content creation during New York Fashion Week

  • Capturing runway, backstage, and behind-the-scenes photography to support real-time and post-event marketing

  • Editing short-form video content optimized for social media engagement and performance

  • Identifying key storytelling moments to elevate designer visibility and brand narrative

  • Supporting on-site operations, including setup, backstage coordination, and assisting designers and models

  • Collaborating with team members in a fast-paced environment to meet tight deadlines

The Results:
